Garden State Track Club
From website: Garden State Track Club is a non-profit organization that aims to serve all levels of runners in New Jersey. Our goal is to provide direction for competitive runners of all levels, and to foster the future of New Jersey running by providing support to underprivileged young runners throughout the state. Shore Athletic Club
From website: THE SHORE ATHLETIC CLUB is one of New Jersey’s, and America’s most diverse and inclusive organizations dedicated to all the specialties within the great sport of track and field. The Shore AC is truly a club for all athletes and all seasons. We field “varsity” and local men’s and women’s teams competing in every event within the sport, and on every level, youth to juniors to open to Sub-Masters and Masters.
Freehold Area Running Club
From website: FARC has promoted running and race walking in central Jersey since January, 1983. We put on about 25 running events a year, plus maintain an active club that includes weekly group runs (Sundays), periodic meetings with guest speakers, newsletters and social events (baseball games, picnic, annual party). We are also big on kids races, plus award anywhere from 2 to 4 college scholarships each year, depending upon applicants. Many of our races are charity events, which typically donate over $25,000 each year to local charities. FARC itself is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization. We currently have over 400 memberships. Our members range from some serious competitors to the ‘just stay in shape’ runners, which includes most of us.

From website: The club has about 100 members that are pretty evenly split between men and woman. Almost all of the members reside in the Morris, Somerset and Union County area. Members range in age from the 20’s with a fairly large contingent of masters runners (over 40).
Hunterdon County
Hill Runners of Hunterdon
From website: The Hill Runners of Hunterdon running club has been in existence since 1999, and membership is open to all. There are approximately 90 active members of varying ages and abilities, with a good balance between male and female members. Weekend club runs are organized for both Saturday and Sunday mornings year-round, and generally are in the Annandale, Readington, and Clinton areas of the county. There’s usually a pace and distance to suit all from the recreational jogger to competitive runners training for marathons.
